Julia & Stephen's Wedding Reception at LaMassaria at Bella Vista

Believe it or not, March 24th was the first Wedding of 2012 at LaMassaria at Bella Vista, and I had the honor of entertaining it! Julia & Stephen were an awesome couple, and everyone had a great time at their reception! The guest then enjoyed cocktails and hors d'oeurves on the Mezzanine in the magnificent Conservatory Ballroom. Megan & Jason's New Years Eve-Eve Wedding Reception at The Merion Tribute House

Megan and Jason were such a fun couple to work with! They currently reside in Michigan, so most of our communication before their wedding was done via video teleconference and through email. Megan and Jason chose an amazing venue, The Merion Tribute House located on Philadelphia's prestigious Main Line to host their intimate reception. After exchanging vows at a nearby church, Megan & Jason's 140 guests traveled to the Tribute House to celebrate. Cocktails and hors d'oeurves were enjoyed in the Lounge and Legion Room before the guests entered into the ballroom for dinner and dancing. After formal introductions, first dance, blessing, and toasts, a special video was played for Megan & Jason which was created by their Bridal Party. Megan and Jason had also planned a huge surprise for their families and guests by having a Mariachi Band play during dinner. Megan and Jason met in Mexico while on a service trip, so having the band at their reception really meant a lot to them. Stuart G. Christina & Justin's Wedding Reception at LaMassaria at Bella Vista

After a VERY busy fall "wedding season", I'm finally getting back into the swing of things....I had the pleasure of entertaining Christina & Justin's Wedding Reception at one of my favorite venues, LaMassaria at Bella Vista. Christina & Justin's Reception was not the "typical" Reception that most have experienced. Instead of having a "formal" sit-down dinner, the guests enjoyed appetizer stations and passed hors d'oeuvres. This allowed extra time for dancing... and also gave me the chance to start the party almost immediately! I had the pleasure of again working with videographers Amy & Jim from Abominable Productions. Their work is amazing, & I can't wait to see some video highlights! Here's how Christina & Justin's Cocktail Reception went:

6:00pm - Guest Arrival
6:39pm - Bridal Party Introductions
"Country Girl(Shake it For Me) - Luke Bryan
"Teach Me How to Dougie" - Cal. Swag District

Lauren & Drew's Wedding Day at Riverdale Manor

My fifth trip to Lancaster County this year lead me to Historic Riverdale Manor for Lauren & Drew's Wedding Ceremony and Reception. Due to the massive hurricane (Irene) that swept through the area a few weeks prior, the Ceremony was held outside under the pavilion instead of the grove next to the Conestoga River. I provided music and amplification for their ceremony, as well as wireless microphones. Following the ceremony, Lauren, Drew and their Bridal Party posed for a few photos around the grounds, and then joined their guests on the patio for the remainder of the cocktail hour. The guests then entered the Ballroom, awaiting the formal introductions of the Bridal Party. After Lauren & Drew's grand entrance, they shared their first dance. Before dinner was served there was a blessing and a toast by Lauren's Maid of Honor and Drew's Best Man. Following dinner, Lauren surprised Drew by singing to him..... she sang Adle's "Make You Feel My Love". Brooke Courtney Photography took care of capturing all the special moments as well as providing their Smilebooth. Check out some great photos on their blog
